Shepherd have announced the release of their advanced weight system for the Velox V8.2 1/8th on-road kit. This set of optionals has already shown its potential at this year‘s World Championship and it is a direct replacement for the regular or brass battery mount. Included in the set are an aluminium tray made of high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium, two 18g balancing weights, a high quality carbon brace for the battery and all necessary mounting hardware. The needed mounting positions for the battery have been included in the radio plate of the Velox V8.2 so no DIY drilling is needed. The 18g weights are equipped with additional countersunk holes, making it possible to stack the weights if needed, with a total of five weights can be used in the aluminium tray.
